MONDAY NOVEMBER 20 2000 "New Arrival " shows up at Straydog's door!
5:30 a.m. - It's always something! Just when things seem to quiet down a tiny bit, another doggie shows up, one way or another, and this little black fellow came right to the door! Actually he followed Juan from the road to the house!

Little doggie goes to the vet
This little fellow is a mix-mix, maybe some Chow, and is about five months old, the doctor said, and other than having hookworms he appears to be in pretty good health. "Scooter" had his first puppy vaccinations and will be neutered next month, after his second puppy vaccinations. Scooter weighs 26 pounds and is a very friendly, playful, happy-go-lucky puppy-dog.
Randy and Juan make a new kennel for Popcorn and Peanuts and rearrange three sets of dogs to make room for Scooter
Making room for this "just one more" dog was not as easy as you might think. We had no space for him, so we had to figure out how we could make room.
But by the time Scooter and I arrived home from the vet clinic, Randy and Juan had a new make-shift kennel constructed for Puppy Popcorn and Puppy Peanuts, three sets of dogs rearranged, and Scooter's quarantine kennel all ready for him.
We're bursting at the seams, but all dogs have a kennel (most with one kennel mate)
