MONDAY NOVEMBER 27 2000 Scooter and George meet in the park

Because George's kennel companion, Irene, was adopted Saturday (November 25th), George is now very lonely and needs a kennel companion until he is adopted by a wonderful family too. New arrival, Little Scooter, also needs a best buddy, so we introduced these two fellows in our big play yard today, and they got along great! They played together in George's kennel all afternoon, and tomorrow we'll move Scooter's house over to George's kennel, and the two will be kennel companions until they are, hopefully, adopted by their forever families.

Puppy Lucky is tentively adopted by Betty, one of our Straydog volunteers!

What a lucky puppy little Puppy Lucky will be if this pending adoption works out. Betty has been one of our volunteer doggie sitters at our Saturday Adoption Days for quite a while, so we know first hand what a wonderful home this little pooch will have with Betty and her family. We'll be caring for Puppy Lucky all this week and will take the little fellow to Betty's home this coming Saturday (December 2) to see how all goes with little Puppy Lucky and Betty's two bigger dogs. Puppy Lucky is growing fast! We've had this little pup for just 11 days, and he seems to have trippled in size already.
