EXCERPTS FROM PAT ARNOLD'S DAILY DOG LOG - First published on www.straydog.org 04/01/2001

MONDAY MARCH 19 2001 THROUGH SUNDAY APRIL 1 2001

Dear Friends,

Due to the necessity of getting a printed newsletter mailed out as soon as possible we have to forgo the usual weekly update this week so we can spend the time working on our newsletter. Look for it in the mail soon!

Here is just a quick summary of what has happened this week:

FUNDS in our Straydog account are dipping dangerously low--less than $5,000, which will last only two weeks.

GEORGE has been adopted by Shannon (our new employee) and her husband John, and will go to his new home soon.

GINA Puppy-dog, who was adopted February 10, 2001, is coming back to our Happy Home for Strays. It suffices to say the family can not handle this big, playful puppy-dog's jumping and chewing. ... We will take Gina back and try to find her another good home.

MANDY and BEAR are doing just fine! No more attempts to get out by Miss Mandy.

Thank you so much for your continued support to our Happy Home for Strays. We rely solely on donations to keep our no-kill shelter going. Without your help this wouldn't be possible.
