Tomorrow Mother Dog Freckles goes to have her spay surgery
Freckles has weaned her four puppies (three of whom have been adopted--Lucy and Louie this past Saturday and Luke the Saturday before), so now it is time to take her to the clinic for her spay surgery. When she recovers from this operation (several weeks from now), she will begin treatment for heartworm disease.
Freckles loves her daily outings in the big play yard
Freckles is getting around very well now during her daily play period in the big play yard. We no longer need to keep her on leash, which we had to do for the first few weeks to guide her as she walked around so we could keep her from bumping into the fence and the trees. Now she is used to the big area and gets around very well. She Loves her trips to the park (the big play yard) and anxiously waits at her gate as her turn approaches.
Freckles' three adorable adopted puppies are all adjusting beautifully in their new homes.
No word yet on Lassie's biopsies
No word yet about the biopsies done on the two tumors removed from Little Lassie's neck and shoulder. She seems fine, and she's feeling good now that she is home from the vet clinic.
Danny continues to do okay
Please keep Danny Boy in your prayers. We can tell by his frequent (but not constant) spirited behavior that he wants very much to get better.
