Doodles is back and needs a kennel spot (2/16/03)

Border Collie Billy brought into the park with Doodles immediately after Doodles' return.

Border Collie Billy is not interested in becoming friends with Doodles.

 

Billy will go back to his kennel alone and Boomer will be brought out

Doodles and Boomer seem to get along okay.

Nose to nose sniffing

Leashes are off and the two dogs sniff the grass along the fence together.

The two dogs get a drink together from the big water bucket and then go back to Boomer's kennel. (At the time we didn't know that Doodles would soon be re-adopted.)

 

Later Sunday afternoon Doodles is fortunately adopted

New adoptive dad, Tom, fills out the paperwork in the kennel office, and soon Doodles is in the back of Tom's car ready for the trip home to Flower Mound, Texas.
