Betsy during
her outing in the park
Betsy looks over
at her and her brother's kennel, probably wondering why he's over
there instead of here.
Guy takes off
Betsy's leash to see if she'll go potty, but she just stands
looking at her neighbors. Pat had the doctor put tape on the
piece of the long piece of kirschner wire sticking out of her
leg.
Close up of the
kirschner in Betsy's leg. A .kirschner is "a steel wire
for skeletal transfixing of fractured bones and for obtaining
skeletal traction in fractures. It is inserted through the soft
parts of the bone and is held tight in a clamp." (Definition
from WebMD.com.)
Guy encourages
Betsy to go potty, which she finally does do.
Poor Betsy will
be have to spend the next eight to 10 weeks going thru this routine.
