What a beautiful day! Real swimming pool weather for the pups and dogs

      We have all the "swimming pools" in all the dogs' kennels now, and the older dogs are happy that it's spring again and that splashing around fun has begun.

      Little New Arrivals Jack and Jill have had a grand time playing in their little puppy "swimming pool" today.

      What a joyful sight it is watching Jack and Jill play with each other. These little puppies don't know they have any handicaps, and if anyone else were to watch them run around and play, they would never believe these two siblings can't see (much) or hear anything. They love splashing around in their pool too, just like normal pups.

      Cassie and Blind Chubs are another pair of water-babies. They Love playing in their pool.

German Shepherd, Heather, will have a visitor this Sunday

      Beautiful German Shepherd mix Heather will have a young lady named Kris come to our Happy Home for Strays to visit her this coming Sunday afternoon. Kris saw Heather's picture and story on our website and Kris said she fell in love with Heather right then and there. Maybe Heather will have a new mommy soon!

Billy will be going to his new home Sunday!

      Border Collie Billy will be Going to his new home this coming Sunday. This fellow is in for a wonderful new life. He's probably already started dreaming about his soon-to-be home on the range, and herding cattle for his new dad.

      Sunday will be an exciting day for two of the fellas here. (See photos of Billy and his new in the Sunday UPDATE.)
