Jesse-Bear walks from his kennel next to the park across to the park

Not only did the brave boy walk the short distance from his and his mother's new kennel across to the park without any pulling, tugging or even much coaxing, but he also pottied for the first time in the park. WAY TO GO, JESSE!

"It's starting to get to be fun to go to the park!"

Jesse searches for a potty spot in the high grass along the fence.

Laura leans against Tina's leg while Jesse looks back at his mother.

At five o'clock a huge swarm of bees flew over the park (the big play yard)

The caregiver with a set of dogs in the park reported the incident over the walkie-talkie and said the bees were headed toward the trailer where I was sitting working on processing photos for this website. I said to keep an eye on the bees. Later the caregiver reported that they had moved on.

Bobby's fourth day back home goes a little better

Bobby is kind of getting used to his kitchen kennel but very much looks forward to his outings in the park with his family. He's still not a happy camper having to stay in the house most of the time, but little by little he's getting used to his confinement. He goes to the park several times a day (and night) and continues to seem to be glad to spend a little time with his mother and sister, Briar, during their outings, though Briar has started to growl at him when he joins them as if to say, "You've lost your place in this family."

"This is no fun."

You can see the closed incision on his right knee.

Time to go back to their separate living quarters.
