Bright sun and very hot today - 5 new pups get a mini-pool
The five little pups from near the Oklahoma/Texas border are doing fine in their tiny mini-kennel, and because it got so hot today, we found a big plastic container in the barn that Pat used to use to bathe puppies in, and we put it in the kennel for the pups to play in, and they had a great time cooling off in it. One of the black and white pups and the one black pup were especially interested in getting into the water.

Ticks (which are very uncommon here because of the preponderance of ants) are found on Puppies Jack, Jill, Willie and Tinkerbell
We think we may have inadvertently carried the ticks in in wheel barrow loads of sandy dirt we've brought in from outside our big fence to change out the dirt in the kennels of these four pups, who potty so often that their kennels were attracting flies. One dose each of Revolution(R) should take care of the nasty little bugs.
