The three remaining Oklahoma/Texas border pups were adopted today

     Today our General Manager and Adoption Day Director, Guy Lucas, along with his wife Kim (who volunteers every Adoption Day [and now the day after Adoption Day]) drove the long drive to Denton, Texas, where the home visit went great, and two of the black and white spotted pups were officially adopted. On the way to Denton Guy and Kim had met up with Susan Devers, our Adoption Day Volunteer Coordinator, who took one of the three remaining pups also on a home visit, and Susan's adoption became official also.

     Guy reported that Susan had reported to him that a woman named Maryanne had already named her pup Sophie and that Maryanne's 10-year-old dog, Sam, got along just fine with little Sophie and everything was fine.

     The family in Denton named their two pups, Maxie and Maggie, who got along great with the family cat. They also have three children, who are going to have a grand time raising these two pups
