Juana takes Julie and Nikki to the vet clinic today

  Julie

     Julie's glucose level was 169 today, which is just a little above the normal range. (Yesterday's reading was skipped because the doctor had said Julie was doing so well that every other day would be all right for a while.) We're planning on keeping Julie inside (except for her many walks to the park) until we're confident she's stabilized.

  Nikki

     Nikki's toenails were getting too long, so Juana took her to the clinic along with Julie. Because Nikki is still so afraid of everything, Juana had one of the vet techs help her carry Nikki into the clinic crate and all. Inside they put a muzzle on Nikki and while Juana and Lauri held Nikki still, Donna clipped her nails. There were no problems, and they all came back home. Nikki did just fine.
