Dr. Morton didn't get to Angel's surgery till late this afternoon
Due to a very busy day and some emergencies (one due to a dog having been hit by a car) Dr. Morton didn't start the operation to remove the hard lump from Angel's chest till after five this afternoon. At 6:30 p.m. we got a call from Dr. Morton about the results of the operation. It looks to the doctor like a lipoma, a benign tumor, but he will, of course, send it off to the lab to find out for sure. Angel's doing fine and we'll be able to pick her up tomorrow.
Big Boy and Foxy Yatzee had blood drawn for analysis, and they came back home
We won't know till tomorrow how Big Boy's liver is holding up under the strong medicine he's taking to control seizures, and Foxy Yatzee's test was to determine the severity of her heartworm disease.

Max went to the groomer
I went to pick Max up this afternoon (another interruption from working on the newsletter, which should be ready to go to press within just a few more days), and the groomer said his mats were so nasty deep down in Max's thick fur that she wound up having to shave him, except for his head, so he looks kind of like a miniature lion.
