Blackie seems totally well today, but Julie is a bit lethargic

     As predicted (from knowing his past performance) Blackie has bounced back to his old self, begging and scrounging for food during all his waking moments.

     We are concerned about Julie and are keeping a close eye on her. She had diarrhea last evening per Randy's report this morning, and she had a couple more bouts of diarrhea today. Tomorrow she goes to the clinic for another glucose test, and we'll ask the doctor about Julie's diarrhea and lethargy.

A routine day with temperatures in the high eighties

     The dogs are still cooking, but it's not nearly as bad as it was when the temperatures were reaching the 100-degree mark. And the evenings are dipping into the 60s giving the dogs and us a lot of relief.

I'm working on the newsletter

     I've been ordered by my daughter, Erin, to stay in my office and work on the newsletter, which has allowed me first to get Saturday and Sunday's photos done and posted. (See the links to these two days' updates.)
