SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14 2003

Heather, Sally & Alice plus Amigo (formerly Spike) go to the second Adoption Day of the weekend

No additional adoptions today, but Heather was visited and considered for adoption by a lot of people. And she had a great time playing with all the little children who passed by her.

Sally and Alice just about terrorize the place, which is probably why we hadn't taken them to Adoption Day for quite a while. They constantly bark when any dog passes by them. Our volunteers had their hands full with these two.

Amigo, who was the only dog to make the trip both days this weekend, was his usual sweet self, but no one wants to adopt him.

We're all worn out from doing two Adoption Days in a row. Over 300 miles on the road and no work got done on the newsletter.

Consuelo Murry, M.D. with Amigo, whose name used to be Spike. Amigo is the sweetest, most
docile pup in the world, in spite of his former name and the look on his face.

Volunteers Kathy, her sister Betsy and Betsy's children Olivia and Marco. That's Sally in the lower left.
