Champ goes to the clinic for more blood work

As we reported yesterday, Dr. Morton said the first blood test showed something abnormal with Champ's thyroid, so today Juana took Champ for a second blood test. This time the lab will target only the thyroid. The results will be back sometime next week.

Champ tries to cool off in the shade with his eyes shut.

Adoption Day tomorrow at PetsMart on Central at Parker in Plano (Texas)

For sure we'll be taking Amigo (who's already tentatively spoken for), Heather, Crissy and Daisy. These are four absolutely wonderful dogs.

Today the electric company came out and put up four more poles with security lights

These will cost us a flat rate of about $8 per month (each), but they will greatly help the overnight man, Randy Hopkins, as he's making his rounds. It will also make the early morning feeding much easier on the feeders, who have always used flashlights.

Now we'll be able to see what's going on at night when all the dogs start barking.

Julie, Blackie and Toby (not pictured) go to the park together now. That's Juany giving special attention to Julie.
