Flash! - Late rescue of a dog named Henry

After they'd finished their shifts at Straydog this afternoon (and were off the clock), Juany, Tina and Tamara went out to try to rescue one dog we'd heard about by phone and came back with another, whom Tina has named Henry, so now we're short the one open kennel, which was the backup spot in case tomorrow's incoming Pit/Lab mix isn't compatible with either Tipper or Dixie. Tina will write up the full story in the hand-written log on the counter in the kitchen of the main trailer for me to edit and add to tomorrow's update.

Puppies Madison and Sadie come in the house for a bath in the bathroom sink

Pat would be very pleased at the extra attention each and every dog is getting by all of our caregivers.

Juany starts to give Madison her first bath, with a prescribed medicated doggie bath shampoo.

Juana washes and softens some scaly areas on Madison's neck that Dr. Morton said were caused by bacteria.

Madison is ready for her rinse.

The rinse off

Madison's ready for the towel.

Sadie sniffs her wet sister, Madison, not knowing that she's next.
