Henry does not have a broken jaw, but an abscess, which is draining at the clinic

Dr. Morton says that other than the infection in his Jaw Henry is doing just fine and will be able to come home to Straydog next Tuesday. They need to keep Henry at the clinic over the weekend because he has a tube in his jaw that is taking care of the drainage from the abscess. Dr. Morton's going to be out of town Monday, so he wants us to leave Henry at the clinic till he gets back to give Henry one last check before sending him home. (We're going to wait to have Henry neutered till he's regained his health.)
A large, soft lump is discovered on Misty's belly, and Juany takes her to the vet
Dr. Morton said that Misty has an inguinal hernia and that we won't do anything at this time other than to keep an eye on Misty and from time to time push the hernia gently back inside if possible. The only danger is that the opening in Misty's belly muscle (through which the intestines slipped out) could begin to close, strangling the hernia, which would be fatal if not caught in time to operate.
While she was at the clinic Juany went ahead and had them give Misty her allergy injection, which was due this coming week.

The new golden-tan Pit/Lab mix (we've named Russell after his rescuer) is at the clinic, and we'll pick him up Monday
Shortly after Juany and Misty left the clinic to come back to Straydog, the rescuer of the golden-tan Pit/Lab mix dropped the dog off for his new arrival's checkup. The clinic called me, asking if we wanted the dog neutered, and I said, "Of course!"
