TUESDAY OCTOBER 21 2003

The dogs from the foster home in Plano are coming Wednesday to see if any are compatible with any of our singles

The woman fostering 15 dogs at her home in Plano, which dogs have to be out of the woman's home and placed by tomorrow, can't make it here with some of the dogs till tomorrow. They're planning on bringing the seven most compatible dogs, and we'll all keep our fingers crossed that at least some will fit in with our singles.

Henry and Russell to stay another day at the clinic

Henry and Russell probably won't be coming home till Thursday we found out today, as the doctor hasn't had time to neuter them yet, and their surgeries are now scheduled for tomorrow. We're not sure where we're going to be putting these two guys, but they're already ours, so we have to find them a spot. As we try to match up the Plano Foster Home Dogs with our singles, we'll have to keep Henry and Russell in mind so we don't fill all the spots, having to leave them in kennels at the clinic till we adopt some more dogs out.

Tomorrow's going to be some mix and match day!

And we've already begun by moving some dogs around:

     (1) Krissy's been playing well with Rudy and Benny, so she's back in with them, and they've been doing okay together, with only one little skirmish at meal time because the dogs were getting overly anxious about the coming food.

     (2) Buster went back in with his sister and former kennel mate, Dixie, who had been beating up pretty badly on Buster, but Dixie was really glad to see him back, and they had been reunited every day in the park during "walks," and we'll be keeping a close eye on them.

     (3) We took Rosie out of Boomer's kennel (a couple of days ago) and tried her with Amigo, who's been alone for almost a couple of weeks now, since just a few days before Freddy was adopted.

     (4) Foxy Yatzee had been in with Buster, and we tried her with Boomer this afternoon, and that went well, so that frees up the former Buster/Foxy Yatzee kennel.

Tomorrow will be something, and we'll get as many pictures as we can.
