Emily, who's pictured on Pat's lap in the photo above on the day Emily went in for surgery to repair the ACL of her right knee, has now hurt her other knee

     We first noticed last evening that Emily was holding up her left hind leg, so we decided then to take her to the vet today, hoping she hasn't torn another ligament (which would cost Straydog another $1,000 to repair). Dr. Morton felt her leg and knee and said he couldn't tell for sure and would like to wait a couple of days before he does x-rays.

Colby and Rosie get together once again in the park, on leash

     Again Rosie was afraid of Colby, but he paid her very little attention. We'll try again tomorrow.

Foxy Yatzee and Russell met yesterday and spent less than 24 hours together

     We thought they were going to be compatible, but something went wrong, and Tina had to pour a bucket of water on them to break of the out-of-control tussle that was turning into a fight.

Foxy Yatzee and Russell met and moved in together yesterday and seemed to be compatible.

Foxy and Russell wait at the gate ready to go back to Russell's kennel.

Russell wants to play, but Foxy's not too interested.

Something must have happened between them since these photos were taken.

     Foxy reopened her shoulder wound she'd received from her skirmish with Boomer last week, and she now has a puncture wound on her right front leg, on which we put some antibiotic ointment. She's still taking antibiotic pills for her first wound. So Foxy Yatzee is back in the hospital, the long white trailer pictured in the aerial photo above, and she will remain inside till her wounds completely heal.
