NOON UPDATE

Adoption Day is in full swing as I post

I called Erin and Tina (who are heading up the crew of volunteers at PetsMart) just before noon, and the report was that it's very busy at PetsMart with lots of potential things happening but no adoptions yet. A full report will come in tomorrow's update.

Dear Bill - I haven't written before this because I didn't and still don't know what to say, except I'm so sorry about the loss of Rocky. I have been following Rocky's story faithfully, and when he came home from the vet's, I was thrilled for all of you. I hope you realize that you and your family/staff made Rocky's last days peaceful and full of love. No one could have done more for anyone than all of you did for Rocky. I hope it comforts you to visualize the wonderful reunion Rocky and his "mom" had at the Rainbow Bridge - I hope and pray that time brings healing to all of you.

Sincerely,

Brenda

Subject: Old Sassy Katie
To: straydog@straydog.org

Dear Bill - I am so glad that the decision to keep Katie at home, at least for now, has been made. I can only imagine how difficult it is caring for an elderly, ill dog plus all the others you & your wonderful family and staff love and care for. To say I admire all of you is an understatement! I wish I lived closer so I could actually do some of the endless chores you & yours do 365 days a year without any complaint!! Please know that there are lots of people just like me who admire your love and dedication to your "fur babies" & Pat's memory.

May God bless all of you!!!

Brenda

Thanks a lot for your kind words, Brenda
