NOON UPDATE

Indy, the newly rescued Black Lab, will go to see Dr. Reeves this afternoon

Indy will be joined by Anthony, Toby, Leo, Misty on this trip to our Tyler vet. Erin, who left Straydog in her car with just Blackie at 10:30 this morning, will report on this big vet visit after she and Tina and the dogs get back to Straydog this evening, and I'll include her report in tomorrow's update.

It's too bad we had to wait two days to get Indy to a vet, as he's not looking really well. Tina reported just a little while ago that the poor stray was having difficulty standing up and kind of collapsed to a sitting position. But Dr. Reeves will be examining Indy within a couple of hours.

Indy, rescued from the road a short distance from Straydog on the Morning of July 4th.

You can see the white goo being secreted from Indy's eyes.

Hi,

I just wanted to say thank you for adding my links to your site. I have only just found that you have linked to me, and wanted to return the favour and so have put a link to you under "rescue groups" on my links page at www.spanna.net .

I have just viewed your site and think you are all doing a wonderful thing there. Keep up all the hard work.

By the way, I am in Wales, UK.

Regards

I'm as nervous as can be about checking our P.O. box today after I post

The first batch of newsletters went into the mail Wednesday, and we got a few contributions in Saturday's mail. I must stop worrying and continue working. Everything will be all right.
