Toby's Sunday "drive" in the park
As you know if you've been following Toby's story, the old fellow's been diagnosed with DM (Degenerative Myelopathy -- similar to MS in humans), and within just the past few months he's lost most of the use of his hind legs. I took photos and videos of this afternoon's Sunday "drive" in the park in his new cart (donated by Catherine and Randy Moellering) to show how well he's progressing:

An additional report (from Erin) on yesterday's Adoption Day
A very nice couple came into PetsMart to visit our dogs, and they were very interested in Baby Girl. They want to take things slowly, though, in order to really make sure Baby Girl will fit in with their cat. We may get to do a home visit next Saturday.

Another couple is very interested in finding a dog who is already trained and would be okay with their three-year old toddler and seven-year-old child. We will set them up with a visit with Foxy Yatzee as soon as it might be convenient for them.
There is a mother and daughter who are fostering German Shepherd/Lab puppies for one of the rescuers we try to help from time to time, and they did adopt one of these pups out today as they joined our group at Adoption Day. They have one of these puppies left, a 10-week-old male.

Blind Mother Freckles' son, Louie, visits us at PetsMart
