Start digging around for all those old treasures you just couldn't bring yourself to throw out.  Now is the time to put them to good use!  We're planning a metroplex-wide garage sale to benefit Straydog.  April 22nd is the big day.  Our goal is to have a Straydog garage sale in every neighborhood in every city of the DFW Metroplex and beyond!   Our thanks to volunteers Cher Imrie and Kathy Henderson for inspiring us to greater heights of garage sale success.
 
Here's what we need:
 
· HOST HOMES FOR GARAGE SALES/SOMEWHERE TO PUT THE STUFF - If you can help us store items in the two weeks or so leading up to April 22nd AND host a garage sale for your neighborhood, please let me know.  This is a big job but I know some of you big-hearted folks are up to the challenge!
· VOLUNTEERS TO WORK THE GARAGE SALES - Let me know if you'd like to help and we'll find a place to put you to work! 

· STUFF!  LOTS AND LOTS OF good quality/marketable STUFF!  Start digging it out - we'd like to start drop-offs about two weeks ahead of the sale.  Stay tuned for a drop-off location near you...

· SIGNS FOR OUR HOST HOMES TO PUT OUT - If someone creative would like to make some signs, please let me know.  NOTE: Each city has different ordinances governing how/when/where you can display your garage sale signs, so be sure to check.
If April 22nd is not a good day for you, and you'd still like to have a Straydog sale on another day, GO FOR IT!  Just let me know and we'll advertise on the website for you.
