Photos of Noble when he first arrived at Straydog in April 2005

Noble in early April of 2005, the day he was brought to us at Saturday Adoption Day at Petsmart in Plano, Texas.

 

Noble receives his first meal at Straydog and his first shot of insulin. Noble was one of Angie's rescues, and when Angie got sick and had to spend a long period of time in the hospital, all of her dogs had to find homes in other shelters. Since Straydog already had one diabetic dog (Julie), we agreed to take Noble, and we promised Angie we would take care of this sweet boy forever. The vet clinic where Angie had boarded Noble when Angie got sick thought Noble didn't have long to live as he had Type I (Juvenile) Diabetes and needed constant monitoring of his blood sugar level.
