Tuffy is coughing

     Today the day started cold and kind of windy. Last night it got down to freezing, so we brought in our older doggie regulars, besides Tallie and Tuffy, who usually stay inside because they prefer it and they don't have a kennel of their own outside. It was a good night according to our overnight man, Randy. Tuffy started to cough a little bit so we started him giving some Tussin cough medicine this morning. We then gave him some again later on this evening. Maybe he got sick from going in and out of the weather (as we humans sometimes do). Tuffy just likes being inside where we keep the temperature at about 60 or a little lower. Tuffy is such a good boy.

A big thank you to Max and Yvonne A. for some wonderful new toys, pillows and blankets!

     Early in the morning we recieved a box full of toys and blankets for our doggies. We are always so happy for our doggies if new toys arrive! Thank you, Max and Yvonne! There was a pillow that we gave to little Vern. He right away just snuggled with it and looked so cute.

Missy still is wearing her e-collar, so can't play with toys very well

     Little Miss Missy also got some new toys which she likes, but she can't really play with them much because of having to wear her e-collar, which by the way is doing the trick. Missy's sores are almost gone now, but as soon as we remove her E-collar, she starts to chew again, so we really have to wait until her sores are completely healed before letting her go without her e-collar. Later on I took another photo of them both asleep after their dinner. Vern had kicked the pillow to the side and was curled up next to a new toy. They both are very spoiled, and we really enjoy having them here with us.
