Rain hits hard at 3:30 p.m. after our doggie feeding--41 high, 31 low
Today started out cold, and when we were getting close to finishing our daily routine, it began to rain hard. It was around 3:30 p.m. when it finally hit us. By this time, thank goodness, we had our feeding done and had gotten all the stool picked up. We'd started to feed a little early just to be sure we would finish before the rain, and we were successful.
Cold night coming, so we need more hay for the dog houses
As the day went by, the temperatures kept dropping, and we knew that tonight it was going to be cold, so I wanted to double check every single dog house to make sure each had extra hay. We do check our hay quite often, but especially when it's going to go down below freezing. I like to double check myself to see that our doggies do have extra hay. So at caregiving rounds we got the two wheelbarrows full of hay, and we stuffed every dog house full.
Our doggies get crazy and frisky in the colder weather during the day. They love this weather. They dance around and bark, and try to pull the hay in and out of their houses and kick it all around, especially our younger ones.
