Anthony has a large sore on his head and ear

When I got to Anthony and Susie's kennel in Hospital II, I saw blood on the blankets, so I started looking them over and noticed Anthony had a lot of blood and an open wound on the back of his head near his ear. I asked Jorge to bring over something to clean the sore and blood off of Anthony's head and ear. I called Juana, and she told me that because it was such a large wound, to give him Cephalexin and to wash up the sore real well and to leave Anthony inside (with his kennel mate Susie), so Anthony's sore wouldn't get dirty or infected. Poor Anthony.

Anthony has a very large sore on his head.

Tina begins to doctor Anthony's sore.

Caregiver John out sick, so Jeff and Rhonda fill in and do a great job

The rest of the day has gone better than expected. Caregiver John is very sick and couldn't make it in today, so Jeff and Rhonda kicked it into high gear and got all the kennel work and all the caregiving done. Thanks to Jeff and Rhonda for a great job done--with a lot of extra work on the part of each of them!

Rhonda brushes beautiful, older, blind mother, Laura.

"That feels really good," Uncle Colby tells Jeff during his caregiving time.
