     Today was a good day for our doggies with no emergency visits to our vet clinic. Unfortunately some of our caregiver/kennel team members are coming down with something like the flu and aren't feeling well, At least today we had a full crew (with some working sick), but who knows about tomorrow?

 

Oscar sees DeeDee and Puppy Conrad in the park and starts to fuss

     During park walks today I had just put Oscar outside in one of the small temporary kennels next to the park, and the walker was bringing DeeDee and Conrad to the park at the same time. When Oscar saw DeeDee, he started crying and wailing because he wanted to be with her.

DeeDee in the park and Oscar in the temp kennel see each other, and Oscar starts wailing.

     Oscar's sad cries were so loud that we could hear him all over the Straydog campus. He just wanted to play with DeeDee, and Oscar always gets his way, so we took Conrad out of the park and put him in the hospital trailer temporarily, and we let Oscar go into the park and play with DeeDee for a little while. They were both very happy to see each other and had a good time rough-housing and tumbling all over.

"What's with you and that Conrad-dude playin' together in the park, DeeDee," says Oscar, as they greet each other.

     Then we had to put Oscar back in his temporary kennel, and Conrad got to go back in the park with DeeDee so he could have his play time too.
