A nice but windy day at Straydog
The day has been absolutely wonderful, except the wind could have been a little bit calmer. It is tough to open your eyes to see when the wind gusts are real high, but we made it through and got all of the walks, kennels and caregiving done.
The hospital doggies are enjoying the airconditioning today, and as you can see, Noble really loves it. He has also started gaining a little weight with the new DCO food he is on, which we are getting from the clinic. I don't know if you can see Noble's fat belly in the picture I took.

Jack and Jill come inside to protect their noses from sunburn.
I had Jack and Jill in the park today and saw that Jack's sun burn is really bad, and the poor guy has a crack on his nose, and it was a little bloody. I know it hurts him because he ran into my leg and laid down on the ground and covered his poor nose with his paw. I came inside and called Juana to see if we could give him Cephalexine to help heal the sore and she said "yes, and do bring Jack and Jill inside Hospital II to help keep them out of the sun". I hope they enjoy being inside because both of their noses have sores, but Jack's is so much worse than Jill's. So far they are doing really good.
