After the Tiger/Harley kennel switch everything's going okay
Since we moved Tiger back to her original kennel, right beside Leo and Freckles, these neighbors have been doing well with no problems at all. Harley, however, is still being kind of aggressive at morning feeding before it gets light outside, but he can't hurt anybody in his stand-alone kennel, and we just leave his bowl in there until it gets light outside. We still don't know the reason Harley is acting this way.

Mr. Vern's had some bad diarrhea today
Little Mr. Vern was sick this morning, having very bad diarrhea, bless his little heart. He was having to go outside just about every few minutes, and it was just watery stool. I don't know what made him sick, but after giving him some meds for his tummy, the rest of the day after he ate a good lunch, Vern was okay. If he still has diarrhea tomorrow, I may take Vern to the vet also, but so far he is doing much better, and he sure hasn't lost his appetite.

Jack & Jill are liking their stay inside Hospital II
We have been keeping Jack and Jill inside because Jack's nose has been peeling due to sunburn. It is looking better now after a few days, but these two come to just love being inside. Every time we take them to the small park right outside the back door of Hospital II, they both go and do their business and come right back and wait by the gate to come back inside Hospital II. They sure are cute. Jill loves to be petted all the time, and she is always so sweet. Jack isn't too interested in being loved on, but he's okay with it just for a minute, and then he wants to go on to do something else. They are such smart and good babies. I would like to try them with puppy Conrad sometime (as they are all three double merles (aka lethal whites). Conrad is very, very friendly and just loves to play and have fun. Conrad is a happy little boy, just as Jack and Jill have always been. It's such a shame that many breeders usually simply dispose of (via euthanasia) these poor deaf and partially blind Aussies when their handycaps do not interfere with them having a very full and enjoyable life.

Nikki's knee continues to heal
Nikki is doing very well healing from her knee surgery, and she has been a very good girl staying inside. She has been with her pal and longtime kennel mate, Rex, as he stays inside with her to keep her company. Nikki doesn't want to be inside by herself, and Rex really likes it inside, so they have both been doing very well as residents of one of the 6'x6' kennels in Hospital II.
