     Today was a good day for all of us here at Straydog. It was very warm for the dogs with the high of 74 degrees. (As Bill has said many times, from his observations of the outside dogs at Straydog for the past 14 years, most of the dogs seem to be most comfortable when it's around 55 degrees. Most were panting today. It's hard to imagine how uncomfortable it must be for the dogs when the temperature is 94 degrees or 104 degrees!)

Big Dog Buddy and Big Pup Travis go to the vet clinic

     As we reported yesterday, we had already set up appointments to take in Big Buddy along with Pup Travis this morning. Tina, who was off for the day (because she's taking the overnight shift tonight for Randy's night off), accompanied me and the dogs to the clinic this morning because she had some errands to do in Athens before she took a nap to get ready for the overnight shift, so she also helped me with our doggies on this vet trip, which was a little more difficult than usual because we had to use the mini-van (since the big van was in the shop), and taking Big Buddy was a chore as we could only fit one crate inside the mini-van, so Travis was in the crate, and Buddy stayed loose in the van.
