Frosty gets her toenails trimmed

Also we got to see Frosty today. Bill's been keeping her with him in his office at their house, and her toenails have grown to an unbelievable length, so Juana went home and got Frosty since we had enough people today to hold her down as she is very rowdy and doesn't like her nails to be cut at all.

Fat Frosty enjoyed sniffing the park for a while before the toenail trimming began.

We had to muzzle Frosty, and Jeff and Wayne held her body down while Juana held each leg so I could cut her "talons" off. Juana had tried to cut them first, but the nails were so hard Juana was having a hard time getting the clippers to cut, even using both hands. After we were done, Jeff and Wayne let Frosty go, and she jumped up and took off like a bullet with the muzzle and leash still on. I called to Juana to try to grab Frosty because the big Siberian Husky wouldn't come to any of us, but Frosty just ran and ran all over the park before we could finally get her. All ended well, and Frosty will feel a lot better with those long spikes cut shorter.

We prepare Frosty for the "surgery."

Tina has to squeeze hard to cut through Frosty's long hard toenails.

Brian may now have the mange too, and he and others may go to the clinic Tuesday

I noticed yesterday that Brian has a bald sore spot on the back of his head, and since Travis and Patsy both have come down with demodectic mange (after having had sarcoptic mange as little puppies) and because they are Brian's siblings (litter mates), Brian is more than likely coming down with the demodectic mange too. Juana said she is going to take Brian and Miss Cici to see the doctor tomorrow. Cici is going to have another Cushing's test, and Fancy may go, but it depends on how her limp is in the morning.

In this photo of Brian taken Monday you cannot see the bald spot on the back of his head.
