A beautiful day, though cold this morning

     The day has gone absolutely perfectly. We had a good crew and no emergencies. The weather was unbelievably cold this morning. It was 44 degrees when Jeff and I arrived. and it even got a few degrees colder before the sun came up. Despite the cold this morning it has turned out to be a very beautiful day.

Thirty shelters cleaned and de-fleaed; eighteen more to go

     Today we had Jeff, Wayne, Stephanie (new employee) and me. I started walks and Jeff, Wayne and Stephanie did the kennel work. Juana told me that after lunch I was to have Wayne begin caregiving, and have Jeff and Stephanie start taking more front boards off and cleaning out the hay inside the dog houses. We have only eighteen more shelters to go. I know that may sound like a lot, but we have completed thirty so far. I can't believe that we are two thirds of the way finished.
