More work is completed on the kennels and grounds

     This morning we had an extra person (a new trainee but an extra hand), so I had asked Jeff if we would start early removing some more front boards along with taking the old hay out, and he did a good job. We have only nine front boards to be removed and around 18 dog houses still full with old hay, which we will get to asap. I think we can get all this done before this week is over.

     We also sprayed two more kennels for fleas and ticks. We're really looking forward to seeing all the kennels rid up of fleas and ticks. After finishing the kennel work, Wayne did more mowing. There is still a lot of mowing and weed-eating to do. Stephanie and Michael are our newest outside crew members, and they are both doing very well. Today after finishing their kennel work, both helped us with caregiving. They both enjoyed taking care of and getting to know our dogs. Michael has already picked his favorite. He loves Josie and Josie will take cookie treats from Michael's mouth. She is very smart and gentle.
