Vet visits (continued)

   Conrad

Also on my list of dogs who were going to the clinic was baby Conrad, who isn't a baby anymore, but still he's still my baby though. Conrad was going to be neutered today. Oh boy, Conrad was mad this morning. Usually, I feed Conrad as soon as we get down to the shelter and then he gets to go in and spend the rest of the day with Puppy Leanne, but today that didn't happen. Conrad barked and barked, asking me and telling me, "What happened to my food and my friend?!" Conrad was not a happy boy at all this morning! From where LeAnne was, she could see Conrad, and Leanne was also barking, as if she were saying, "Well, I want to see my friend now!" All the way to the clinic Conrad was good, but as soon I stopped the van, he began to bark again.

I helped Conrad in, and Vicki the vet receptionist was very impressed with how big and handsome Conrad is. Today Conrad weighed 35 lbs! Vicki took him to the back kennels, where I could hear him barking and barking, non-stop, poor baby. I felt so bad. As soon as I finished bringing in all our doggies and visiting with the doctor, I had to say goodbye and kiss Conrad again. I just couldn't help it. I got several photos of all our babies sitting waiting in the clinic back kennels. Conrad gave me all kind of kisses, but still asked me, where is my food?!

Conrad is in the back kennels at the vet clinic, still barking asking Juana about his food!

Travis is awaiting his mange dip at the vet clinic.

Patsy will get her mange dip today too.

More front boards removed

Today we had time to take more winter front boards off of the dog shelters, along with removing the old hay. We are almost done with this huge project, thank goodness. Tomorrow morning, if everything goes well, we will be finishing up with this very hard project. A big thank you to our wonderful crew, especially Jeff, who has been really working hard on this.
