   Laura and Jessie get groomed

Before the groomer ladies did Frosty, they had trimmed up and finished Laura's hairdo, which didn't take much time at all. Then it was Jessie's turn, and thanks to our caregiver Tina, we got Jessie done. Well, it wasn't the best hairdo for Jessie, but I just wanted to get all the matted hair off, which meant our groomers needed to trim around his hind end area. They left his beautiful coat on the rest of his body. Even just doing this, we had to muzzle Jessie, and it took both the groomer Tina and our Tina and me to hold Jessie while Stacy did the trimming. Jessie really was a bad boy, but we are happy that we finally finished.

Jessie is ready for his grooming session.

Tina and Tina hold Jessie for the groomer.

Jessie gets his mats shaved off.

"What has happened here," asks Jessie, looking down at the hair on the floor.

Scooter and Penny get brushed out

Scooter was next in line, and he was a very good boy, as always. Penny and Scooter love to be brushed and our groomers did a lot of brushing. They really didn't have to trim much, only around their hind areas too, and the under sides and backs of their legs. Penny was the last to be groomed today, and she was very good, just like Scooter. There were no problems at all. Stacy and Tina, the groomers, can't understand why we still have Penny and Scooter with us, since both are so sweet and such beautiful dogs. We all agree and know how good these babies are. I guess we haven't found their forever homes because a lot of people don't want a big dog, especially if they have to take two big dogs, and two long-haired big dogs, and lastly, having to deal with health problems of middle-aged dogs, etc. Both groomers couldn't believe Penny and Scooter haven't been adopted because they are so beautiful.

Scooter is getting brushed out real well by the groomers.
