I've had a busy early morning so far with dogs and pups. Naturally the insiders--four dogs and six pup--all wanted attention at once when I got up to Snowflake's whining to go outside at 3:30 a.m. This made things a bit difficult, but after two hours of puppy and dog care everyone got their needed trips out to go potty, got fed and cleaned up, got their puppy papers changed a dozen times, and I got the special dog food cooking.
The puppies eagerly ate their mushy food, and then I bottle fed the little runt, "Tiny," who drank four ounces from the bottle. Then I poured puppy milk into bowls for all of them, and they lapped it up as if they were starved. Their tummies are so FAT they couldn't crawl into either of their beds for a nap. Instead all of them sat on the outside of their bed and hung their heads over the bed and went to sleep, so one by one I lifted them into their beds, and I'm sure they will be sleeping soundly for a while now, which gives me a chance to clean their potty papers again.
I have to get a few dog things from town this morning after I take Misty to the vet for her allergy injection. Also maybe it's time to take Pepsi and Pepper for their second puppy vaccination. I've got to call about that. If anything big happens, I'll report back later.

The pups are under that half dog house. I lifted the top to snap the above photo. At the bottom of the photo is the "mush pan." Thursday, December 12, 2002
