Saturday Adoption Day plans:
Adoption Day will be at Petsmart on Central at Parker in Plano, Texas and at Canine Commissary on Lower Greenville in Dallas tomorrow (Saturday).
The three-month-old puppies, Shepherd mix, Pepsi, and his brother, Pepper, will be going along with their puppy friend, Lab mix, Jimmy, to the Petsmart in Plano along with a few adult dogs. Several adult dogs will also be going to the Canine Commissary on Lower Greenville.
We're still waiting for our dog-sitting coordinator to call with the number of volunteers joining us, so we don't yet know for sure exactly how many dogs we can take, but we are sure all the above-mentioned pups will be going.
New arrival puppies
The new four-week-old puppies who joined us a few days ago (after their mother died), are too young to attend an adoption day right now. We think we may have found foster care for the pups, so they may not be with us after this Sunday.
Right now they stay in our kitchen/living room kennel except when it's warm enough for them to spend a short while in the puppy kennel outside.
These little siblings are becoming playful now and have recently discovered they have voices! They are hilarious to watch as they try to pounce on each other practicing their new "growly" sounds as they tumble around. (See the photos and videos below of these motherless pups.)
