SATURDAY DECEMBER 21 2002

Super busy today with a billion things going on and needing attended to!

Puppies Pepper AND Bessie were adopted together!

Guy called from our Saturday Adoption Day at Canine Commissary to say that Puppies Pepper and Bessie have both been adopted by a wonderful family with two young, well-behaved children! Pepper and Bessie have had a fun time playing with each other here for the past five days, and for them to be adopted together makes this adoption perfect for them. This is great news!

The mom of the children is a co-worker of Dr. Pippin, a long-time volunteer with our group, and Dr. Pippin made the home visit and said that all is just great. These are going to be two, much loved house pets from now on. What a wonderful christmas present for the pups and for the kids!

Amber was the only other dog to go to Adoption Day, and she once again was not adopted so she's back with her kennel mate, Billy, as the sun just went down on this shortest day of the year.

Amber says, "I love Adoption Days! ... Even tho I don't ever get adopted."
