New window units for H1 and H2

And speaking about hot, our air conditioner in Hospital 1 wasn't producing any cool air. It acted like it was frozen up, but we couldn't find any signs of that being the problem. Because it was Sunday, it would have cost a lot to have someone come out to Straydog to fix it. We have been meaning to get a window unit for H1 as a backup for some time now. So we sent James out to get a window unit. He came back and had it installed in no time. Then, to our surprise, after a while the main AC unit started cooling again. So we figured it must have been frozen up. James also installed a new window unit in Hospital II as a backup because the original unit there had been giving us some trouble from time to time. At first this new H2 unit wouldn't work, but James figured out that the plug we'd bought was bad. After getting and installing a new plug, it worked just fine.

Duncan is feeling under the weather

Our doggie Duncan seems to be feeling a little under the weather. He didn't want to eat his meal. He wouldn't even take a cookie. And he wasn't jumping around and happy like he usually is. I brought him into Hospital I to cool him down, just in case he was overheated. But he still wouldn't eat. I tried some chicken broth, but he just turned his nose up at it. I had to take Duncan back outside and put him in the temporary kennel Puppy Andy has been using before he was adopted because it started to thunder and Oso had broken out of his kennel. Oso was scared, and I didn't have anywhere else to put him except the big crate in H1 where I had put Duncan. Outside I saw Duncan drink some water and go pee-pee and it looked normal. It was not much, but it was some. Duncan hasn't had a bowel movement, and that kind of concerns us. We will have our overnight person, Rhonda, keep an eye on him and report how he does so we can tell the vet in the morning. We plan to take Duncan to the vet to be checked out unless he snaps out of this.

Duncan looks and acts like he doesn't feel good. "It might have been something I ate," says Duncan.

Duncan sits in the Puppy Andy's former small kennel next to the park.

Penny looks worried about her Duncan-boy.
