Noble's ringworm is very bad

Noble is another doggie that I feel very sorry for right now. Noble has more skin lesions than he did on Friday. I have had two days off, and Noble's fungus just doesn't seem to be getting any better. The sores on his lips are puffed up really badly, and he has about six of them. His lips are so swollen, and he also had more lesions on his tummy and his legs that are really red and just don't look good at all. Poor Noble, I hate seeing him in his crate away from all the Chihuahuas and not getting to go to the park with them. I HOPE that we can hurry and get rid of this ringworm, so Noble won't be lonely anymore!

Bobby needs more pain medicine

Bobby is another dog who is getting old, and he's just not doing very well right now. He didn't want to eat his breakfast. He does that sometimes, especially if it's raining. So, I waited until the rain stopped, and he still didn't want to eat. When I was trying to feed Bobby again, I noticed he was limping on his right back leg. I know that he has bad back legs, but I have never seen him limping on one and not wanting to put any pressure on it. Bobby also didn't want to eat his meatball with his thyroid pill in it at 11 a.m. I had to stick it down his throat. Although he did eat a few cookies at caregiving time, I couldn't even get him to touch his dinner. I talked to Juana and told her that I thought Bobby was probably in a lot of pain. Since Bobby gets a lot of pain medicine already and we can't give him anymore, we decided to divide the Previcox pain pill that he gets in morning. This way, we could give him half in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. And, since we crush all of our pills and Bobby is not eating, that means he wasn't getting his pain medicine. So, we are now giving them to him in a meatball and we are making sure he takes them.

Patsy

Today at caregiving time, Tina came in and told me that Patsy had some red, puffy cuts under her legs. They seem to be getting infected. I'm think that an antibiotic would be helpful, and we will need to check with the vet about this.
