Big Foot and Snickers are enjoying their time outside in their 'escape-proof' kennel

Every morning our outside walks start off the same way. The foursome of Thunder, Storm, Oscar and DeeDee get leashed up, and they all go to the park together. The four of them have always gotten along well together. Lately, after their park time is over, they have all been going back to Thunder and Storm's kennel, and Oscar and DeeDee stay there until the afternoon feeding. This allows Snickers and Big Foot to occupy Oscar and DeeDee's kennel for a good part of the day, letting them get out of their 6'-by-6' Hospital Two kennel for a while. They have been staying inside, because they used to dig out of their outside kennel all of the time. But I don't think that they've tried to dig out of Oscar and DeeDee's kennel. They might not be digging out because they are in a spot where there's a lot of commotion and a lot of things happening all around them. They might have just been bored, back where they were at first, and they just wanted to get closer to where the action is. Or it might be that they have an 'escape-proof' kennel with tons of cement buried along the perimeters. Anyway, I am so happy these two are getting to spend some time outdoors. And they seem very happy about it too.

Storm, Thunder, DeeDee and Oscar get along real well, so they have their park time together.

After park time Storm, Thunder, DeeDee and Oscar enjoy spending time together in Storm and Thunder's large kennel.

Snickers and Big Foot like being in Oscar and DeeDee's kennel right in the middle of lots of activity at Straydog.

Yoshi's daily digging

Around 10:00 Sherri asked me to come and take a look at the hole Yoshi had dug. When I got there, Sherri was standing in the hole and it was so deep that it came up to her knees. Sherri told me this is a daily thing that Yoshi does and it takes about five minutes or so to fill the hole back in. She also said that it very well could happen again in the afternoon.

Caregiver Sherri stands in the hole that Yoshi has dug (and digs every day).

Dogs soak up the sun today

Like I mentioned earlier, the day was very nice. The sun was out, and you could see dogs sunbathing all over, soaking up that Vitamin D. I saw Bobby on his back, leaning up on the gate of his kennel. It looked kind of funny, but you could tell he was as comfortable as he could be.

Silly-looking Bobby likes to sleep on his back in the sun next to the fence.
