attended an
Independence
Weekend Tractor Festival
Saturday, July 3rd, 11 - 3 p.m.
and our group
was located at the

*Our Adoption Day crew,
headed up by David Rentz, took along Duncan, Tuffy, and Puppies Panda & Manchitas, and it was a cooler day under the trees, overcast
with a good breeze occasionally. The dogs didn't get too hot and
several people stopped and looked at our dogs and talked with
us about our dogs.Good adoption day but no adoptions.
People
attending the festival visited us and our dogs.
Puppies
Manchitas and Panda were very active for a while but finally had
to take a nap together.

*Artist Bruce Peil (my son-in-law) showed a few of his paintings
at our adoption event,
planning to
donate funds from sales to Straydog, but there weren't very many
people interested in paintings today. No sales.
Bruce's
paintings stood on display, leaning against trees
near the Pickin' Porch in Ben Wheeler, TX.
