7:00 - 11:00 - Continued - Dog walks by one helper; kennel cleaning rounds by the second helper. Only one day per week are there three helpers since each has two days off. On the three-person day Randy has a list of special chores to do, like adding fence sections onto kennels, fixing sticking doggie gates, building shelters or shade tops, etc. His list of special chores to do is never-ending!
Randy dumps and scrubs the water bucket and then dumps and rinses the pool. There are 19 more kennels to go after this one, all with water buckets, pools and doggie holes to fill.
Randy drains and refills Danny and Abby's pool. While Danny gets a fresh drink, Randy rakes the sandy dirt up high along the base of the fence where the dogs always seem to be digging.
Randy gives attention to Danny and Abby before moving on to next kennel, which is Angel and Pup's and has some major digging repair work to do.
