Successfully adopted dogs, who are now happy and secure in their new homes:

SPUNKY

Breed: Mix (maybe some Spitz)

Birth Date: Approx. 8/94

Sex: Male--Neutered

Color: White fluffy fur

Vaccinations: Up to date

Weight: 45 pounds

Health: No apparent health problems

Spunky is a happy-go-lucky fellow. He likes to play with toys (and likes to claim all toys as his own). Spunky had been shot in the hind leg and is afraid of the sound of gun shots, thunder and other loud noises. It took many months for his leg to heal, but this sweet doggie is just fine now.

NICKIE

Breed: Lab/Retriever mix

Birth Date: 5/97

Sex: Female

Color: White (buff)

Vaccinations: Up to date

Weight: 50 pounds

Health: Very Good--no health problems.

Nickie is gentle, yet "bouncy," affectionate, loveable, playful and loves to run and play ball. Nickie has become an excellent house dog. (See the story of Nickie's adoption on page 22 of our Januray thru May 2000 newsletter and on our February 27, 2000 homepage.)

We found Nickie just wandering on our shelter property on July 19, 1998.

ABBY

Breed: Australian Shepherd mix.

Birth Date: approx: 5/98

Sex: Female, spayed

Color: Gray/black

Vaccinations: Up to date

Weight: approx: 60 pounds

Health: No apparent health problems

Abby is very gentle, affectionate, quiet at times, yet very bouncy and playful. Abby loves everything! She loves to rest her head on our lap to be petted. She loves to run and play ball. She loves water and has found a home where she can have a little doggie swimming pool to play in during the warm weather in a secure fenced yard. She appears to be dog friendly and very people friendly. She is a joy. Abby has become a pampered house dog. (See the story of Abby's adoption on page 4 of our January thru May 2000 newsletter and on our January 23, 2000 homepage.)
